All of our competitive programs are offered to girls aged 6 years old and up. We have some amazing athletes with impressive results over the years.
Invitational Competitive programs are offered to girls who are seeking a competitive experience. They are capable of handling a more intense program than the recreational or advanced recreational program offers. They train between 7 – 18 hours per week. This introduction to competition is fun and encourages positive participation.
Athletes in our Provincial program train 16-20 hours per week and compete at the Provincial level. They compete at 3-4 Provincial Qualifying competitions to qualify to compete at the Provincial Championships and Eastern Canadians. Other opportunities to compete may involve traveling to Invitational competitions in Canada, and possibly the United States.
The Provincial Championships allow these gymnasts an opportunity to compete for both team and the individual awards.
Our National/Elite Program is very intense and focused, both physically and mentally. These girls train 25-30 hours per week and have a modified school program to accommodate their training. Gemini’s National and High Performance athletes compete at various Ontario competitions throughout the year and have the opportunity to compete Nationally as well as Internationally.
Becoming a National/Elite gymnast requires a great deal of determination and hard work, as well as club, community and family support.
